Our Story

CatalyzeIN

This is a space for exploring movements, catalytic leadership, and how the gospel spreads through cultures and generations. It comes out of years practitioning and learning how Jesus' way changes everything.

These writings emerge from years of engagement in movement dynamics across Africa and beyond.

The Vision

A movement is not an event or a program — it is a self-propagating, reproducible pattern of disciples making disciples and churches planting churches. This work explores what catalyzes such movements and how we can participate in them well.

Movement

Understanding what happens when disciples make disciples leading to churches planting churches.

Catalyst

The journey of discovery, coaching and invitation: the essentials of being a movement catalyst.

Decolonization

Why decolonizing our approach matters for healthy, sustainable movements.

The Authors

Brandon

Catalyst

Brandon has more than a decade's worth of time spent in frontier church planting training and coaching. He brings that experience to CatalyzeIN and the work stemming from it. His work roots the principles and values of frontier church planting clearly in Scripture, creating space and opportunity for people to explore discipleship, mission and movement in their own contexts.

The Approach

This work is deeply committed to indigenous leadership, post-colonial practice and the belief that the best movement leaders are always from within the culture being reached. Catalysts are outsiders who serve, resource, and equip. They never control or direct.

The writings here are meant to be read in conversation. They build on each other, reference each other, and together form a framework for understanding catalytic work in movement contexts.
