Our Story
About CatalyzeIN
A space for exploring movements, catalytic leadership, and how the gospel spreads through cultures and generations.
These writings emerge from years of engagement in movement dynamics across East Africa and beyond.
The Vision
A movement is not an event or a program — it is a self-propagating, reproducible pattern of disciples making disciples and churches planting churches. This work explores what catalyzes such movements and how we can participate in them well.
Movement
Understanding what happens when disciples make disciples leading to churches planting churches.
Catalyst
The journey of a movement catalyst — discovery, coaching, and invitation.
Decolonization
Why decolonizing our approach matters for healthy, sustainable movements.
The Approach
This work is deeply committed to indigenous leadership, post-colonial practice, and the belief that the best movement leaders are always from within the culture being reached. Catalysts are outsiders who serve, resource, and equip — they do not control or direct.
The writings here are meant to be read in conversation. They build on each other, reference each other, and together form a framework for understanding catalytic work in movement contexts.
